A NEW NORMAL FOR WORKING IN APRIL

One fact many of us are certainly agreeing on is that our lives will forever be changed by the COVID-19 event.

For us leaders, that means accepting that even when we are no longer in a virtual working space, certain things will still never be the same- there will be long term consequences on our way of work.

ZeroGap Video Notes:

[00:54] Supporting our employee’s wellbeing and productivity when they return

to the office will be paramount, because things are going to look a bit

different.

[01:03] Now is the time to begin thinking and planning for these impending

changes- the new tools, resources and protocols they might have to get

familiar with.

[01:18] These might include modified KPI’s, modified work schedules, employee

resource groups.etc.

[01:36] Your employees are currently working in unfamiliar conditions:

homeschooling, supporting elderly ones, working in shared living spaces.

All of these will impact productivity and how it’s measured, going

forward.

[02:09] Consider how you’d build out your plans for the incoming changes these

moments would bring into your team.
